ASSAM TAMANG BUDDHIST ASSOCIATION MEET CHIEF MINISTER
A nine member delegation of ASSAM TAMANG BUDDHIST ASSOCIATION(ATBA) led by Jagat Gomden,General Secretary and Spiritual Leader H.E the 13th T.G Rinpoche called on Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi at his Koinadhara Residence on friday evening 8-7-11 and congratulate him on assuming the chair of Chief Minister for third consucutive time straightway. And discussed the socio-economic condition of Indigenous Tamang Buddhist Community of Assam. The delegation highlighted the present situation of Tamang's in Assam in regard to their Identity crisis and preservation and promotion of Buddhist Culture in the state, which need a special attention, since Tamang are single largest Buddhist community of the state. The discussion lasted for half an hour focused on the issue of the financial assistance for preservation of Buddhist Culture and Learning centre and a Development Council for the community included in the Memorandum submitted to Chief Minister. The discussion was congenial and the Chief Minister assured the delegation that he will consider the issue very soön in positive way.as done in case of S.T Status, delegation also express thankfulness to CM for recomendation of Tamang to central gout.for S.T Status . i m happy tamang association doing some progress but in tamang association need some youth who is energetic and having good knowledge of politics. without politics nobody can do progress in a democracy country.

When was ATBA is formed. I heard only PurbanChal Tamang Buddha Sang. The party is forming whn thy like without any seminar. Being a tamang 4rm Assam, I didnt heard ATBA. We knw that Purbanchal Tamang Buddha Sang, president Dil Ram Yonjan forwarded ST upto Delhi Desk. Nw i sees that the credited is taking by ATBA. Who is ATBA. Who formed it. How many seminar u kept all over Assam. Wat is ur objective. While forming did u call all the Hilba sang of Assam and Intellectuals of India Tamang BUddha Sang. I was shocked seeing ATBA. Obiously, being from Assam i didnt knw how n whn is it formed. Its nt a procedure to formed an ATBA. Its gud to form bt according to procedures nt in ur wish. Assam Tamang is nt satisfy by ATBA coz thy didnt inform. U can keep ur Place name bt nt assam coz u r nt only from assam. All assam tamang should knw it nt only few peoples.... ill motive comment by tamangmanikumar against ATBA should be condem by one and all ,how a person is writing against a Tamang association wat is his motive under who's direction he is working ,i would like to request ATBA leader to file FIR or defamation suit against tamangmanikumar ,who is this fellow .campaigning for a state in nepal and attacking a Tamang association in India.
